Dear Crooked Creek Campers and Parents:

Are you ready for the greatest week of your life? The folks at Crooked Creek have been preparing all winter for our week together! Here is all the information you need to know.

Departure:
We will be leaving from the parking lot of the shopping center at the south side of Ridge Rd and I-30 (Where the Cici’s Pizza, Blockbuster Video, and 24 Hour Fitness are) on Saturday, July 14th at 8:00 pm. Please be there before 7:45 pm. Also, please eat dinner before you arrive!

Return:
We will return to the same parking lot on Sunday, July 22th around 3:00 pm. (we’ll call when we are an hour out to give you a more accurate time)

Camp Fee:
With putting in the deposit of $150, the remainder of the trip fee is $450. Your trip balance is due June 18th. Please bring along enough money for four meals to and from camp, for a shopping spree in the camp store, and snacks at the snack bar. There will also be a camp video of our week on sale for around $15.

IMPORTANT-YL Properties Health, Consent and Release Form
Everyone must have a Young Life Properties Health, Consent and Release Form completed and turned in by June 18th. Important things that need to be filled out on the Physical Form:

- Please note that the form must be completed in full.

- A Parent/Guardian must sign every area that says SIGN on page 2.

- Please fill in the Accident Coverage Session

- The physical exam portion of the form must be completed and signed by a Physician. A copy of a school physical completed within one year prior to the date we attend camp will suffice for the exam portion if it is signed by a Physician and includes all of the information on the Young Life form, however we also need the YL form filled out if you are using another physical.

iPod, iPads and cell phone policy:
Your iPods, iPads and cell phones are welcome on our bus trip, but will not be allowed in camp during our stay. We think we have enough great things for you to do at camp that you won’t miss them. Please have your name on them and they will be collected before we enter the camp. There are several pay phones at camp that you can use to call home, so you may want to purchase a prepaid long distance card before the trip.

Alcohol and Drug Policy
Crooked Creek Ranch will be one of the greatest adventures of your life, so we don't think that you will need any artificial stimulation from alcohol or drugs. Campers who violate this policy will be sent home at the parent's expense.
